Aaron Paul & Bryan Cranston’s Mezcal Masterpiece – Dos Hombres

Aaron Paul & Bryan Cranston’s Mezcal Masterpiece – Dos Hombres

Dos Hombres is a unique blend of the finest Espadin agave, hand-selected from the hillsides of a small village in Oaxaca, Mexico. The range includes two expressions,Espadin Mezcal ($59.99), the core sku, and the extremely limited Tobala Mezcal ($349).

Dos Hombres was born out of a genuine love and appreciation for Mezcal and the obscure spirit’s complex character. It was Aaron who fell first and introduced the category to Bryan. Soon the longtime friends and co-stars felt compelled to share Mezcal with a larger audience.

Thus began their long adventure tasting a myriad of Mezcals throughout Mexico. It wasn’t until their last stop, in San Luis del Rio,  the most remote village of their journey, that they met their partner, third-generation Mezcal maker, Gregorio Velasco. Once Gregorio poured them a distillation that expressed the genre’s signature smokiness with a smoothness and balance, they had an “a ha” moment and knew they found the perfect Mezcal and partner – and as they say, the rest is history!

Dos Hombres is the product of multiple generations of proud Mezcal producers. Maestro Gregorio’s ancestors can be traced back to San Luis del Rio’s origins and foundation, as one of the pioneers of Mezcal production using mud jugs. Gregorio’s grandfather represents the unbeatable effort to bring the art and teachings of Mezcal distillation to San Luis del Rio. It’s his ancestors’ impulse to motivate a village that was hermetically focused on cattle raising to become a reference of Mezcal production in Mexico. With the blessing of the rich soil and adequate rainfall, the best agaves in the world are cultivated.
