This is an exclusive cocktail recipe created by Stranahan’s, the best-selling American single malt from Colorado’s first legal whiskey distillery, in collaboration with the iconic Hotel Jerome in Aspen.
Stranahan’s Blue Peak is a Colorado-made American single malt distilled at high altitude, aged in new American oak barrels, and Solera finished, resulting in a rich and mellow flavor that lends itself to whiskey cocktails. Bottles can be purchased on Drizly and ReserveBar.
Roses & Pistols
- 2 oz Stranahan’s Blue Peak
- 1 oz lemon
- 3/4 oz Vermouth Syrup (Antica Carpano Vermouth, cherries, maple, cardamom, orange peel, rose syrup, rose water, touch of cayenne pepper)
- Bar spoon of Campari
- Three dashes of Colorado cherry bitters
Directions: Combine ingredients. Stir. Serve in a rocks glass over a large ice cube and garnish with rose.
