Latest Launch
The launch of Fornino’s newest indulgence—a Crispy Arancini topped with a decadent Petrossian Caviar Bump—was a resounding success at their Time Out Market location in Dumbo this week. The exclusive tasting event brought together an enthusiastic mix of food lovers and press, who came to experience the luxurious new dish, available for the first time ever exclusively at this location, and to enjoy a curated selection of Fornino favorites. Chef Michael Ayoub was front and center, preparing each arancini by hand, while standout seasonal pizzas like the Corn & N’duja and the Summer Truffles & Four Cheeses were clear crowd-pleasers. Guests also enjoyed chilled Prosecco and signature Petrossian Caviar bumps, rounding out the indulgent evening.

Creation
Fornino was founded in 2004 by Chef Michael Ayoub, whose original Williamsburg location is widely credited with igniting New York City’s artisanal pizza movement. Creativity, sustainability, and the science of fermentation are central to Chef Ayoub’s process, setting Fornino apart in a crowded culinary landscape.
The Menu
The menu reflects a thoughtful progression through pizza history, offering First Generation (Neapolitan), Second Generation (Regional Italian), and Third Generation (Original Fornino) varieties—all crafted in a wood-burning oven. Today, Fornino operates three Brooklyn locations: its flagship in Greenpoint, a seasonal outpost at Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Pier 6, and a permanent rooftop space at Time Out Market New York (55 Water Street) that will be serving up the indulgent caviar topped Arancini all Summer long.
