Frozen pizza product recalled in 21 states: FDA

(NewsNation) — Rich Products Corp. is voluntarily recalling more than 6,000 cases of its frozen pizza product sold in 21 states because it may contain metal pieces.

The New York-based company initiated the recall for its Farm Rich Pizza Cheese Crunchers on May 19, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said in an enforcement report.

The frozen pizza product was sold in the following states, according to the FDA:

Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin.
