Building on the success of the Free Spirited by Loews Hotels program – the brand’s signature, curated non-alcoholic and low-alcohol beverage program designed to bring the same level of craft and care to spirit-free beverages -this new offering reflects a growing guest preference for mindful consumption without compromising flavor, experience, or fun. Loews Kansas City Hotel will offer a seasonal selection of house-crafted sodas. Created by Loews’ expert “Fizzologists” and made in-house using fresh herbs, local ingredients, and house-made syrups, each beverage is available spirit-free or with a custom alcohol add-on, offering Loews guests the flexibility to personalize their experience. The hotel’s featured beverage is the Blossom Breeze, currently available at their outdoor seasonal bar, Horsefeather Social.
Blossom Breeze: This vibrant spritz combines cherry mint syrup, lime juice, and ginger syrup, topped with club soda for a balanced, slightly spiced finish. The house-made ginger syrup is crafted by simmering chopped fresh ginger in water and straining for clarity. Light, fizzy, and refreshing, it’s a summer favorite on the 7th-floor terrace, Horsefeather Social.
The Last Harvest Mocktail: This bright and floral sparkling drink features, blackberry, lavender, lemon, soda. The perfect balance of the sweet tartness of blackberries with the calming essence of lavender and the zesty freshness of lemon. Perfect for a summer afternoon or an elegant non-alcoholic cocktail.
Additionally, Loews Kansas City Hotel will launch the Fizz Cart, a mobile cart that will roll out at Horsefeather Social, the outdoor seasonal bar located on the 7th floor of the hotel, offering made-to-order soda creations from resident ‘Fizzologists.” The Fizz Cart will be available when the bar is open, from Wednesday to Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., weather permitting.
